Chutney haiku and senryu

Technically, my previous attempt at haiku was senryu, since it dealt with human foibles rather than nature (and was funny, not serious). Source: the omniscient Wikipedia. There are some articles online about haikus that discuss ways to write them without sticking hard and fast to the 5-7-5 rule.

For my Chutney series, I’ll be mixing up senryu and haiku and holding on tentatively to the 5-7-5 rule. Let me know what you think.  The first two are below…

making chutney
red pixel jar atop
thin black weblinks

2.
snark charm witty punch
chutney is my weblog hero
but can he make naan?
