Music recommendations
Yesterday I received two CDs via Amazon that I’d had my eye on for a while. I don’t purchase music that regularly (books are more likely to be my siren call) but I received some gift cards for graduation with instructions to buy something “fun.”
My purchases? Green Day’s American Idiot and My Chemical Romance’s The Black Parade. Now, I’m not an audiophile, so I won’t give you a detailed review of the albums here. I’ve only given each a single listen, as well. NPR has a good review of The Black Parade and American Idiot, if you want to hear an expert. I do recommend them both. Maybe if I ever get around to doing a podcast, I can find a way to use them as background. They cover themes which fit in with the topics I discuss here.
