Warning - Posting Slowdown Ahead
During the six month hiatus I have from school, I will be posting here once a week. As I promised, I will finish the series I began earlier, and I will write about the books I’m reading, topics on religion, etc.
The “asides” on my sideblog may be updated more frequently, but probably not daily.
There are two reasons for this. One, I want to give more attention to another blog project, The Daily Scribe. We are working to overhaul the site and breathe new life into it. Arbitrary Marks has been cruising along nicely for some time, so the DS deserves some attention.
The other, and more pressing, reason, is that I have a book project in mind. Now, when I say “book”, I mean “long-form essay”, like the Untangling the Knot essay I wrote several years ago. That kind of discipline (for me at least) requires that I funnel my writing juices into a different kind of mentality than blogging.
Just because I will be posting weekly (Sunday is the day I have in mind) doesn’t mean that there will be only one post. I may have a few things to say. But I won’t be writing daily, that’s for sure.
I hope you’ll still stick around and participate!
Stay tuned for this Sunday’s post: “What is Belief?”
