For my metaphysics class, I’ve been reading about various disputes in current analytic philosophy: three-dimensionalism versus four-dimensionalism; presentism versus eternalism; temporal parts versus stages, etc. Nearly every single article I’ve read has discussed ‘pre-philosophical intuitions’ (henceforth PPI) in some depth, or PPI have played a pivotal role in argumentation.
